Wedding Coordinator Assistant
With around 50 weddings scheduled this year, St. Mary's would like to have more Wedding Coordinator Assistants for our upcoming weddings!
Wedding Coordinator Assistants provide essential help for the many weddings we have at St. Mary’s. They work to safeguard the respectful use of the church and to support and assist couples during their rehearsal and wedding. The Wedding Coordinator Assistant helps the presider lead the rehearsal on the night before the wedding, which involves walking through procession and the liturgy. On the day of the wedding, the Wedding Coordinator Assistants will open the church, set up the altar, greet family and guests, meet photographers/florists, and instruct the bridal party and family in the processional. They ensure that the wedding liturgy flows smoothly.
Details:
A stipend is given for each wedding.
Availability:
1-2 weddings per month (May-October) - includes rehearsal and wedding day
