OCIA 2024-2025 (formerly called RCIA) will begin soon with a great group of eager souls, curious about the Faith and what Catholics are really like. To help support them in their entry into the South End faith community, we are launching this year’s OCIA Patrons Program. OCIA Patrons seek to build community between our current members and the newbies, by providing opportunities for you to get to know and support them. If it sounds like “adopt a pet,” it is kinda like that, yes!
OCIA Patrons do these three things:
1. Join us in January 2025 for our Patron Meet-n-Greet Social where you can meet your candidate!
2. Invite your OCIA candidate in (or out) for dinner sometime during our second OCIA semester (Feb-March 2025).
3. Make a $125 contribution to support your candidate’s initiation costs (books, etc.) and support our OCIA community-building social events.
