Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation, also known as Confession or the Sacrament of Penance, is a healing sacrament by which we experience the mercy of God. Through the ministry of a priest, we honestly confess our sins to Jesus and then receive his forgiveness and mercy. Regular confession brings healing to our hearts and restores our relationship with God and the community.

Catholics are always welcome to return to this sacrament, whether it has been two weeks or two decades since their last confession. Confession times are listed on our website, and we invite you to participate as often as possible.

If you would like to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, please see the times below:

Saturday: 3:15 PM to 4:00 PM  -
Sunday: 8:15 AM to 9:00 AM, 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM, 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM

OR come to the parish office to schedule an appointment 614-445-9668

Confession times at St. Mary Catholic Church

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a celebration of God’s forgiveness of sins committed after Baptism. Those who are in serious sin are required to receive the sacrament within a year. Beyond that, the sacrament has been a wonderful source of grace for Catholic people who use the sacrament devotionally. In this case, people may choose to receive the sacrament monthly, semi-annually or whenever. We have regularly scheduled opportunities for confessions every Saturday. Parishioners can also contact the parish office to schedule an appointment.
